04/28 UPDATE from Dirk:
Ready to party at the river this weekend?!! Just wanted to remind y'all about a few things. We will be out at Guadalupe Canoe Livery starting around lunchtime on Friday. Saturday we will be tubing at 1:00 PM, and the Seafood Boil will start at 5:00 PM. If you want to partake in the seafood boil you must bring something to throw in the pot like shrimp or whatever.
We'll have a BBQ grill going on Friday evening so feel free to bring whatever you wish for grilling. I'll have a keg of Dos XX out there on Saturday.
Guadalupe Canoe Livery:
Follow US 281 north about 20 or so miles until you cross the Guadalupe River. Guadalupe Canoe Livery is on the left.
Phone: 830-885-4671
This is the outfitter that is right at the bridge, not the one where we were last year. When you enter the property, turn LEFT and go underneath the 281 bridge to the section of their property on the East side of the highway.
If you need to reach me my cell # is 210-872-9949, I will check it periodically but probably won't have it on me the whole time. See you this weekend! Dirk

Yes, it's been 8 years! And what a ride it's been. Come out for the weekend and help us celebrate. We'll be camping both Friday and Saturday nights on the Guadalupe River. We will be out early in the day Friday to begin setting up, join us anytime or the whole time over the weekend. Friday night we'll have some grills going and a community kitchen set up. And a great campfire of course. Saturday we'll do a group tubing trip at 1:00 PM that will last a couple of hours. And Saturday evening we'll have a seafood boil with another great campfire of course. We'll provide a keg of Dos XX, bottled water, soft drinks, utensils. Bring your own camping gear and other food & beverages for the weekend. If you are going to participate in the seafood boil please bring some type of seafood to throw in the pot.
Payment Details: Pay at the office. It's $5 per day for day use, $7 per day/night for those camping overnight.
How to find the group: After you pay the campground fee at the office, turn left and go under the highway bridge to the East side of the highway.
As with ALL HCO events, check this page and your email on both the day before and the day of the event for any updates.
